Who we are
Dental Window LLP ("Dental Window", "we") helps dentists trained in India apply to dental programs abroad. This notice explains how we handle your personal data when you use our CV builder and client profile at cat.dentalwindow.com.
What we collect and why
When you sign in with Google we receive your name and email address. We use them to create and protect your account. In your profile you can add the details that go on a dental CV: contact details, education, test scores, work and teaching experience, research, publications, courses, memberships, awards and activities. We use this information to build your CV and, if you are a Dental Window client, to prepare your application documents.
Who can see your data
Only you and the Dental Window team can see your profile. This includes free CV builder users: the Dental Window team can view the data of free users. The team edits a profile only for paying clients who have engaged us to do so.
Contacting you about our services
With your separate permission, which you give with an unticked checkbox at sign-up, Dental Window may use your data to contact you about its paid services. You can withdraw this permission at any time.
Uploading an old CV
If you upload an existing CV, it is processed by an AI service (Anthropic's Claude) to pre-fill your profile. Only that CV and our instructions are sent, and you review every entry before it is saved.
Where your data is stored
Your data is stored with our service providers Supabase (database and files, hosted in Mumbai, India) and Vercel (website hosting). Emails are sent through Resend.
How long we keep it
We keep free CV builder accounts and enquiries for 1 year after your last activity, and Dental Window client profiles for 2 years after your last activity. Data is deleted only by an authorised team member, and deleted data is permanently removed 30 days later.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, and withdraw consent. To make a request, email us at the address below.
